Hello! My name is Evelize Queiroz, and I am someone who loves to travel, experience different things, meet new people, discover new places, cultures—in short, explore and appreciate the world in all its forms.
I have been a lawyer for eight years, but I decided to go down other paths and explore things that I like and that fulfill me so much.
Combining my love for writing, my passion for travel, and the wonderful country I live in, which has stunning places, exuberant beaches, and a rich culture, I realized that I could write about Brazil.
Moreover, I noticed that there is very little in-depth content about Brazil in English, with most of it predominantly in Portuguese. This can, in some way, disadvantage tourists looking for information about Brazil in English.
Another fact is that, due to the violence in some places in Brazil as portrayed by international media, many people have a mistaken perception of safety in Brazil, preventing many from coming to the country. Therefore, I also want to speak more realistically about this issue, as someone who actually lives in the country and experiences its reality.
